Kathryn Elizabeth Smith (May 1, 1907 - June 17, 1986) was an American singer, a mezzo-sporano, best known for her rendition of Irving Berlin's "God Bless America." She also did a cover version of "Silver Bells" in 1966 that was later featured in The Polar Express and its official soundtrack in 2004.
